The Basix Mini Stow comes with a stainless steel weight, but the 6g and 8g overweights, sold separately as part of the Stow range, can also be used with it. The Basix Mini Stow can be fitted with a Mini Isotope (available in seven different colors) and attaches to the underside of your touch sensor with a molded field hockey stick, into which the ball chain screws. It is available in red, green or blue.
The BASIX MINI STOW is a simplified version of the original, but it retains all the main technical features! The semi-fixed nature of the spool means that the indicator will automatically unclip itself in the event of a start. The BASIX MINI STOW comes with a single length ball chain.
This is a smaller version of the famous Stow reels, which were developed on the shores of Lake Elstow and have been used by many members of the Korda team for years. The principle of this reel is that it can be fished with tight and loose lines, and when you get a catch, the line releases from the clip on the side. To do this, the stainless steel ball chain it's mounted on needs to be the same length as your touch sensor, and a detachable connector system allows you to easily adjust it to be compatible with any buzzer (it's set to the correct length for use with something like a Delkim, or similar sized alarm).
