By using ultra-lightweight, dimensionally stable Zaion for the frame and rotor, DAIWA engineers have been able to further reduce weight while increasing retrieve power and strength.

The CNC machined Tough Digigear gears provide smooth operation and optimum transmission of the enormous power allowing for the intensive use of large lures.

The powerful ATD brake provides precise pressure management and instantaneous operation.

The Mag Sealed design of the main shaft eliminates water and dust infiltration and therefore corrosion of the internal mechanics.

The machined handwheel fits directly into the frame and is therefore directly connected to the drive wheel.

The special design of the ABS longcast spool reduces friction and allows for longer casting distances.

From size 4000 onwards, the Ballistic EX LT is perfectly suited for light sea fishing!
