Spinning Reel SG8 3000FD 10+1 BB Savage

SG8 is the perfect illustration of how we designed these reels: from a blank page, we imagined the reel of our dreams, a monster of functionality enclosed in a carbon composite (CRC) frame and rotor.

It all starts with the Friction Control waterproof brake system, which uses carbon fiber discs.

This material allows the brake to remain powerful without losing fluidity and progressiveness, even under stress approaching its theoretical limits.

This smoothness and force transmission is also achieved in normal fishing action thanks to the use of 10+1 stainless steel ball bearings (including two Japanese ball bearings), which ensures excellent performance of course, but also a better longevity of the mechanics by reducing friction.

The SG8 also has many new features that increase the angler's pleasure, such as a T-shaped line-clip, a non-slip spool (no need to use mono backing, the braid will not slip) and an ergonomic EVA handle that is very comfortable to hold.

Everything you would expect from a brand as demanding as Savage Gear is finally found in this SG8.
