With the BG Monocoque reel, DAIWA presents the new generation of incredibly strong and powerful BG reels. Thanks to the MQ design, the size of the control wheel increases by 20% to 40% (depending on the model) compared to a conventional spinning reel.
This leads to a significant increase in power transmission and service life. In addition, the larger tooth size allows for a longer service life and better wear resistance of the gears. The dimensionally stable aluminum frame optimally accommodates the internal mechanics and ensures unparalleled smoothness of operation. Depending on the size of the BG MQ reels, they are perfectly suited for a multitude of techniques with heavy lures and intensive use in freshwater but also in the sea for tuna and GTs. Sizes 6000 and 10000 are the reference for overpowered fishing for pollack and halibut in Norway.
