The DAIWA Viento is equipped with the Twitchin´Bar which offers real advantages for the practice of several techniques including vertical fishing and baitcasting fishing. Through the use of the Twitchin´Bar, the lure can be animated in different ways and at different depths. The depth can be adjusted which is great when you need to keep one hand free to steer the boat. The Speed-Shaft system in combination with the adjustable magnetic drag give the reel good abilities for making long casts while the very reliable Magforce system limits the risk of the line getting tangled.

TWITCHIN'BAR SYSTEM
DAIWA baitcasting reels with the Twitchin'Bar System have been specially designed for fishing zander, perch and pike. They will do wonders for practicing vertical and linear fishing with jerkbaits. Now you'll be able to fish comfortably with just one hand - and just touch the Twitchin'Bar lever with your thumb to retrieve line or immediately regain contact with the lure once it hits the water. If you are fishing alone on your boat, you will be able to retrieve your lure while steering your boat. A real advantage over reels that do not have the Twitchin'Bar system.
