Distance Sticks

Despite their simplicity, the spikes used to measure your fishing distances and allow you to clip your rods correctly can potentially cause a lot of problems if they are not perfectly made. That's why our Distance Sticks come at a relatively high price. Machined by JAG from high quality aluminum for strength and lightness, these sticks are built to last. The tip of each stick has a 43-tooth hard ground spiral, and the included bar allows you to easily drive them into virtually any terrain and make sure they're plumb, stay in place, or don't tilt inward when you reel in your line. On the highly visible top of the sticks, made of translucent green plastic, a spirit level allows you to check their verticality and a space has been provided for a Mini Stow Lite isotope that illuminates the top of the sticks to make reeling in easier at night and prevent you from getting your feet caught in your spikes! Incorrectly coiled lines can cause irretrievable wigs to form, but fortunately, the Distance Sticks have machined ridges that prevent unwinding more than one coil at a time and causing tangling.
