The Heli-Safe system is excellent for use with any helicopter style rig. The lead leaders are 1m long, making them perfect for securing everything to the lake bottom and protecting fish from line damage while fishing.
Not only is it a great anti-tangle system, but it is also very safe for the fish, as it incorporates the "Mini Heli-Safe System" and ensures that the line will come off when it needs to. It also incorporates our No-Trace safety system, which ensures thatif your main line breaks, the hook link can easily detach from the leader, and each pack contains two spare No-Trace beads (these can also be purchased separately if you need them).
The top rubber of the No-Trace Safety System can be placed near the leader when fishing on a clean bottom, or moved to the other end of the leader when fishing on weeds or debris.
The Mini Heli-Safe can be adjusted in a variety of ways depending on the situation, with the standard spring releasing the sinker under minimal pressure and ensuring it falls onto the catch. It can also be replaced with the red spring (two are provided) designed for snag-free or weed-free water.
It is also possible to add a collar (two supplied) so that the lead is never ejected. This way, in case of a break, the fish can always free itself thanks to the No-Trace safety system. Using a size 11 QC swivel allows you to change rigs quickly and easily, and a spliced loop on one end makes it easy to attach to your main line - the loop-to-loop style is the easiest and fastest.
Kable's Heli-Safe sinkers are available in gravel or grass/limon brown, two per pack, and also come with: 2 x spare No-Trace beads; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe collars; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe red springs.
